James Madison Graduate Fellowships

Open to teachers or those who plan to become teachers of American History, American Government, or social studies (grades 7-12). Award is $24,000 (subject to change; check with its official website) and prorated over period of graduate study. Students may apply as juniors or seniors and agree to fulfill the graduate study in a prescribed period of time. Fellowship includes the 4-week Summer Institute on the Constitution held in July at Georgetown University.
