Julia Keay-Chanes Scholarship
When she died in 1997, Julia Keay-Chanes requested that a portion of her estate be used to establish a scholarship endowment for Ramapo students “particularly women, in the School of Theoretical and Applied Science, for tuition, research and related educational expenses.”First awarded in 2002, the Keay-Chanes Scholarships help the Admissions Office and Office of Institutional Advancement provide meaningful financial support to promising women who are entering Ramapo as freshmen or transfers.
Eligibility:
Female students in the School of Theoretical & Applied Science
GPA of 3.00 or higher
First priority is given to a returning adult student, involved in activities demonstrating leadership potential
