Madeleine Ehlert Williams Food and Nutrition Scholarship

For Madeleine Ehlert Williams, sister-in-law of former President Peter P. Mercer, food was an expression of love when she was growing up. During her university years, she explored food from a multi-faceted perspective. By endowing a scholarship at Ramapo, Ms. Williams hopes to “give students with a passion for the study of food and nutrition the opportunity to further their studies in the field.” The Madeleine Ehlert Williams Food and Nutrition Scholarship will benefit students who volunteer in organizations that help educate people about food and nutrition or students wishing to travel to other countries to study food and culture.
