Rotary Memorial Endowed Scholarship

Rotary is a worldwide organization of businesses and professionals promoting the idea of community service in both the local and global community. The Bergen Highlands Rotary Club serves the entire Saddle River Valley area including Allendale, Ramsey, Mahwah, Saddle River and Upper Saddle River. This award was created by the Bergen Highlands Rotary to commemorate deceased members and friends from northern N.J. The scholarship will recognize Ramapo students who are committed to community service, and serve as a way to memorialize members and friends of the Rotary.The scholarship is renewable annually if the recipient carries a full course load, maintains a GPA of 3.0 or higher, and is engaged in active community service.
Eligibility:
Active participation as a volunteer (in excess of any school-required community service)
Demonstrated financial need as determined by Ramapo College Foundation policy
Legal resident of the U.S. residing in Bergen, Hudson or Passaic County
GPA of 3.0 or higher
