Carol Duncan Scholarship

Professor Emerita Carol Duncan is a renowned art historian who served as a faculty member in the School of Contemporary Arts from 1972 until she retired in 2005. An expert in the history of museums in the United States, she is the author of numerous books and articles. Professor Duncan is well known as one of the pioneers of a new social-political approach to art history and criticism and has been one of the strongest feminist voices in the “new art history.”
Eligibility:
Junior and Senior Visual Arts majors who plan to attend graduate school
GPA of 3.0 or higher
Financial need preferred based on Ramapo College Foundation policy
