Newton LeVine Scholarship Endowment

Newton LeVine was a professor at Ramapo College where he taught graphic arts and Chaired the Department of Contemporary Arts. According to his obituary after his death in 2020, “Newton always felt that the minds of the young students needed to be nurtured, and he worked feverishly to help them realize their limitless potential.” His spouse, Joan Seguine LeVine, started this endowed scholarship to honor her husband’s academic discipline and longstanding tenure at the College.
Eligibility:
Visual Arts or graphic arts majors preferred
GPA of 3.0 or higher
Financial need based on Ramapo College Foundation policy
