Joseph A. Ippolito OSS Scholarship

While raising four children, Mary Ippolito attended Ramapo College as a returning adult student and graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in 1982. She had a 22 year career as a health educator for the Bergen County Department of Health. This scholarship was a gift to Mary’s husband Joseph. Applicants must submit an essay that responds to the following prompt: “Describe what plans you have for graduate school, and any graduate programs to which you may have applied. Include the school or workplace accommodations you’ll be requesting, if any, and your career plans. Please proofread your essay; it is recommended that you ask your OSS advisor or other advisor to read your essay before you submit it.”
Eligibility:
GPA of 3.0 or higher
Juniors and Seniors affiliated with the Office of Specialized Services who plan to attend graduate school
Minimum of 64 credits earned
Preference given to students with hearing, vision, neurological, neuromuscular or orthopedic disabilities
