Pushparanee Ganesan Memorial Scholarship
Pushparanee Ganesan was a remarkable woman, wife, and mother. After moving to the United States from Sri Lanka, she attended Ramapo College in 1990 and completed an Accounting Certificate, which enabled her to secure a position at the Bank of New York in Suffern, N.Y. She recognized the importance of education and generously encouraged her daughters in their athletic and academic pursuits.
Pushpa was known for her smile and strength beyond measure. Besides being a talented chef and baker, she enjoyed investing in real estate, hosting lively dinner parties, and spending time with her family. The Pushparanee Ganesan Scholarship is a tribute to a loving woman who would have been delighted to give back to the Ramapo community that had such a positive impact on her life and career.
