Dr. James Clark Scholarship
As a student, Dr. James Clark experienced onerous requirements for scholarships that he was awarded. He declined a scholarship to Harvard University because of its demeaning demands. Years later, when Dr. Clark was a trustee of Ramapo College, he communicated to his family a decision to use his estate to assist Ramapo students in a virtuous and generous way. Honoring his wishes, Dr. Clark’s family established this scholarship endowment to benefit black males pursuing the physical sciences.
